Hi everyone! My name is Raja Sharmaine and I am the PR and Communications Director for The WiAA Project. I’ve always had a passion for the Aviation and Aerospace industry since I was young and this led me to pursue a degree in Aeronautical engineering.
I currently head the business development and strategy section for an Aerospace coordination office in Selangor, Malaysia which has allowed me to engage with industry experts to identify development opportunities and introduce innovation within the industry.
Being able to see more diversity and alleviate gender barriers in this industry is a cause that I am passionate about, because breaking down barriers to gender type roles will create more room for solutions and ideas to existing problems and create a spectrum of transformation.
